First I want to say, to all my fellow bloggers, I’m sorry I’ve been absent. Between graduating and moving home, unpacking and getting ready for my trip, my RSS feed is daunting and I have not had time to sit and read everyone’s posts. However, it will be happening tonight or tomorrow, so I look forward to catching up with everyone’s blogs!
When your last name is Butts, you are bound to have nicknames. Several people call me Butts. Alex is common, but there aren’t many Butts. Then there’s Buttsy, which started back in my days at Camp Mystic. I’ve adapted it to several things. Abutts is taken all over the internet, but abuttsy is not, so it is my username on just about every website there is (except when the username requires #s – annoying).
Then there’s Booty & Chica Boots, or Boots for short. My high school Spanish teacher started the Boots and I’ve always found it pretty funny.
My dad calls me Big Al (flattering, huh?). My mom calls me BG, for baby girl.
My other fam, the Moerers, always has come up with a collection of nicknames for me: Ali Ali Applesauce, Alfred, Alpacino, Alfredo. Cristen, am I missing any?
