How did you spend your Saturday? I spent mine sleeping in, trip planning and more trip planning. I have not stepped away from my computer to eat today, but I finally got my August vacation in complete order and it feels incredible!
I considered all my options – from Sweden to the Canary Islands and Ireland to Greece – and something kept telling me somewhere coastal and somewhere different. So, Croatia it was! It came down to easy of travel, money and getting some heat before falls rolls in in these parts. Croatia was also included in my must-see post after my first Europe trip.

But then I started thinking, I’m too ADD to spend a week on the beach staring at the Adriatic Sea. Plus, I’m THAT traveler and like adding to my country count (currently at 17), so why not hit up the neighboring nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina? So I am.
This trip addition is also majorly influenced by this StumbleUpon list my bestie sent me during our Skype chat a couple days ago. I saw a picture similar to this one below and immediately added it to my must-see-before-I-croak list.

Anyways, with all this trip planning I do, maybe I should consider becoming a travel agent? How do you even get into that? Then again, I think I would be miserable planning awesome trips for other people that I could only dream of going on.
Oh, and this will be my first solo experience, which happens to be on my bucket list. I think it’s one of those things that I need to do and I’m looking forward to what adventures it brings. Yeah, I’m just going to act like I’m not completely terrified for a bit, so let it be.

So jealous! We talked about going to those places this summer too but it didn't fit in our budget. Instead we're doing Rotterdam, Brussels and Northern France because they're closer and we can drive. Can't wait to read about your trip! Have fun!
The travel agents I know have to go on trips to see what the places they're sending people are like… Soooo if you're pro at this solo travel situation I think you're in. Can't wait to hear about your adventures! I'm dying for a euro trip.
Croatia is on my list too! It looks beautiful. I haven't done a solo trip yet, but I keep wondering if I would be brave enough to. =)
